Also, I have been told I have enough stuff, so I guess I'm done.
Unless I should have a pistol or something?

I'm pretty much done, how much ammunition is a fair amount to be carrying? Anyone out there think the shotgun would be a better primary weapon than the rifle?

Both are not very easy to hide, but Omar Little gets away with the shotgun a lot.
He has an excellent Conceal skill.

Regarding equipment, you do not have to be 100% detailed.
Note my earlier comment regarding having an owl.
If it would make logical sense for your character to have/own something, or carry it on his person, he's got that. If you suddenly claim to have been carrying "The Mystical Book of the Dead" in your backpack, that'll require an explanation.
Meanwhile...
DURAX Where is your character staying while in town? I'll assume he's looked up his contact Robin Goodman and is crashing at his place. Don't need to update your background with that answer; just let me know if it's a viable one.
Also, how does he intend to return the borrowed truck?

Staying with Robin is a good plan.
RE: Truck The short answer is that Jimmy, the eldest brother, can drive it back.
The long answer... Back on the farm, the truck would break down every other day or so and David was the only one who had the patience to tinker with it long enough to make it run again. When he decided to leave his eldest brother(Jimmy) said he might as well take it with him, but to return it after he got on his feet. That is to say either after David could afford a vehicle of his own, or has a friend willing to trail them in his/her own car back to the farm. (He was also using this as a tiny bit of insurance that David would at least visit.)
In all honesty, Jimmy doesn't expect the truck to return since it's already run down, and is trusting David's decency to pay him for it, or that their mother is right and David will eventually just come home on his own.
David, on the other hand, is full of optimism and thinks he will eventually be able to repair the truck to run reliably. He plans on writing Jimmy a letter once he's on his feet to come visit him so he can show everybody just how adult he's become and have one of them drive the truck back. Alternatively, 1)he can drive home 2)pick Jimmy et. al. up 3) drive back to his new residence 4) Brag, showboat, strut 5) Have Jimmy drive the truck back to the farm

Durax, all of that is good rationale for the truck; it's your situation to handle however you want. You are staying with Robin, but are not 100% what Robin does for a living.
