FYI, I have not forgotten this game; I just cannot put any time into it. This is a release week for work and I'm swamped with typing bullshit for work and I just cannot put the effort that YOU DESERVE into my next post.
You can vote though.
1 - I vote for Squashua to just give us a semi-unflavored results post and players will takeover most of the work regarding scene manipulation with Squashua just saying "no" to certain things and guiding the game with a more hands-off approach.
or
2 - I vote for Squashua post and hands on and all that shit so let's wait for his lazy ass to get back and be really all-in and stuff.

tl;dr
vote 1 for expediency, but you guys have to supply a lot more
vote 2 for slowness but hand holding.

squashua wanted me to vote 1 but then he deleted my vote for 1. MIXED SIGNALS vote 1 again, maybe if I hide it in a spoiler it won't be deleted

Seriously though 1 is the better option. We have no frickin' clue when Squashua might be available again; I'd like to get the game rolling before it dies a slow, wasting death. I was just taking the piss out of him.

FunkyWaltDogg: how's it doin'
Squashua: shitty
FunkyWaltDogg: sadness
Squashua: had a sinus infection yesterday
FunkyWaltDogg: blech
Squashua: coudln't even drive let alone turn on a pc antibiotics + tylenol + neti pot + robitussin = feeling better today
FunkyWaltDogg: so i'm guessing you're home eh
Squashua: no I'm at work
FunkyWaltDogg: boo
Squashua: sick was yesterday woke up this morning a new person
FunkyWaltDogg: yaay
Squashua: also have this fucking system deploy still ongoing
FunkyWaltDogg: that sucks a big one
Squashua: wanted to fin it yesterday and I couldn't even get out of bed except for doctor hopefully it will be done by EOD then it might be smooth sailing but likely problems will pop up
FunkyWaltDogg: best of luck to you
Squashua: Thanks. Is hilarious though
FunkyWaltDogg: whazzat
Squashua: I spent time doing 2 different read maps for the game by read map, there are 5 books and 6 players and everyone wants to double-check all reads but everyone picked the wrong books to allocate to the wrong people except obbi who is slowest reader So there were two scenarios all except Ben/Charles (fastest two readers) start around 7-ish ben/charles start 10-15 min late because they left for a chat so all the books get allocated except one only book left is dependent on which book Daniel took If Daniel took the Strange Book, then they get Allen diary if Daniel took the diary, then they get strange book
FunkyWaltDogg: fight!
Squashua: I chose Ben to get book b/c Charles was ill I picked the best case scenario, which was Daniel reads Allen Journal He doesn't finish by night end. Flow is thusly, times are approximate : Roger reads Beatrice Diary. Daniel reads Allen Diary David reads Bertrand Journal Henry reads Aaron Post-War Diary Charles comes in late and reads nothing. Benjamin comes in late and reads Strange Book
08:00 Roger done, Charles reads Beatrice Diary. 08:18 Henry done, Roger reads Aaron Post War 08:35 Charles done, Henry reads Beatrice Diary. 09:00 Benjamin done, Charles reads Strange Book. 09:15 Henry done, Benjamin reads Beatrice Diary. 09:40 David done, Henry reads Bertrand Journal. 09:50 Benjamin done, David reads Beatrice Journal. 10:05 Roger done, Benjamin reads Aaron Post War 10:30 Charles calls it a night per narration. Charles has 10 minutes of reading left. He chooses to finish. 10:30 David calls it a night per narration. David has 10 minutes of reading left. He chooses to finish. 10:30 Daniel calls it a night per narration. Daniel has ~1 hour of reading left. He waits for others. 10:40 Charles done, Strange Book pending reader. Charles calls it a night. 10:40 David done, Beatrice Journal pending reader. David calls it a night. 10:40 Daniel still has ~1 hour left. Daniel calls it a night. 10:40 Roger reads Strange Book. 10:45 Henry, Daniel, Benjamin narration call it an end. All 3 have ~1 hour to go. All 3 call it a night. 11:00 Roger calls it a night per narration. Roger has ~2+ hours to go. Roger calls it a night. xx:xx - Henry calls it a night at average of others.
The other timeline iteration with Daniel reading the Strange Book puts the average # of books read lower.
FunkyWaltDogg: that is a lot of typing
Squashua: That specific time-line there, and with Mr. E never specifying which book he picked, was what was giving me heartburn,. So I made some judgment calls. would have been better if an additional book or two was added to the mix Roger pends for 70 min total Daniel never pends David pends for 12 min Henry pends for 30 min Charles pends for 1h 15 min Ben pends for 25 min Charles, being the fastest reader, really pends poorly.
End of night results Roger read: Beatrice Diary, Aaron Post-War Diary, Strange Book (unfinished) Daniel read: Allen Diary (unfinished) David read: Bertrand Journal, Beatrice Diary Henry read: Aaron Post-War Diary, Beatrice Diary, Bertrand Journal (unfinished) Charles read: Beatrice Diary, Strange Book Benjamin read: Strange Book, Beatrice Journal, Aaron Post-War Diary (unfinished)

In the other iteration, Ben would have Allen's Diary and would have finished it just in time to retire for the night, and everyone else would still have about 20 minutes for their last, unfinished book.

Is anyone else familiar with those stick figure family decals folks put in their rear windshield? Maybe it's just a southern thing. Anyway, I was behind a car that had mom, dad, and six dogs this morning and had the realization that Cthulhu would make a good addition to that product line.
Alternatively, mom plus 30 cats on one big sticker (so it'd be easier to get rid of when you got tired of it), but that's less OT.

DagonIndustries wanted to do one at one point and decided not to. He makes a lot of decisions against those that I think could really work in his favor. Like not attending PAX to sell his shit for the last 3 years.

Soon, I hope. I was hoping to do some stuff yesterday, but I was stuck on a work call from 10 AM till 7 PM.
I need my work at work to lighten up; this week is hopefully the last week of heavy work, then I can concentrate.
Also, I hope we didn't lose Oats. I see everyone else here but Oats.
