And failing. I pre-rolled all first aid attempts so I know who would have healed whom successfully and for how much.

I never rolled Medicine for you; your First Aid is 20 points higher. You'd have failed anyway. Roll #1 = First Aid vs. Charles Roll #2 = First Aid vs. Roger First Aid Skill MrEmbarkation : 40 bl : 30 obbi : 30 funky : 30 oatway : 40 wildcat : 45 Rolls - Bold are success mre : 57 83 bl : 47 49 obbi : 72 23funky : 17 38 oats : 87 87 wildcat : 81 57 Amount Healed (1d3) obbi : 2 funky : 2 Roger to Roger == logical. Need David/Funky to commit to attempt vs. Charles/Oats before can apply +2 HP.

So, how about that big gray space with no obvious entrances eh?

What are you talking about?
Also, mathematics rolls for Obbi / Daniel / B:L forthcoming.

Ahhh hahahhaha. OK, so I made some rolls. 1) Some characters realize something (and are being PM'd after this) 2) None of the characters pro-actively recognize the big gray space as missing.

I could accept missing a small space but we are talking something ten or fifteen feet to a side; no one could miss that. Those PMs had better be good.

I think we could get through the fireplace, they were connected downstairs in each room maybe it's the same here?

that's what I was gonna try to do, but I think the Study might have something goin' on for it.

The fireplaces downstairs are not connected internally; that was a misconception that was continued propagation by the players. The downstairs fireplaces all share the same mantle.

At least I am.

The problem is that we're too lost to really put together the clues. At least I am. There are about 4 more new books to slog through. Additionally, there are still some rooms unopened / unsearched. One of the concepts with the Call of Cthulhu system is that if one character fails to do something or notice something, a different character can try. Additionally, I am never one to stonewall when all the characters fail something; I will just give it away. But so far, there may be characters who can do things successfully who are not applied to the appropriate tasks. edit I pre-roll everything; when one character tries something, I make 5 other rolls for the other players and I figure out if at least 1 person succeeds. A perfect example of this would be Mr. E locating the secret chamber in the desk, as opposed to Obbi who failed his Spot Hidden roll. Another example would be Obbi noticing the room being a different proportion, whereas neither you (B:L) nor Mr. E. did. Of course, I did drop hints in the text regarding the room size; had someone explicitly stated that they are looking to compare the rooms, I'd have shown the weird room size right out.

If you want a guy to blame for havin' that thing be appreciated, Mr. B actually gave me a lot of Youtube links to Vocaloid nonsense. I still think that Okapi is there for a reason. Twist the head!
